Bio

Daniel Figueiredo is a composer, music supervisor, executive producer and entrepreneur with a vast portfolio, including composing music scores for Hollywood films and over 25 series broadcast in more than 150 countries.

Daniel has composed scores for films such as Eyes in the Trees, starring Anthony Hopkins, The Getback, starring Theo Rossi, Dermot Mulroney, and Bring The Law, featuring Peter Facinelli, Brendan Fehr, and Mickey Rourke.

Daniel is a two-time winner of the Latin Grammy and holds the record for the Greatest number of songs in execution in TV series, with 794 songs played. Additionally, Daniel has participated as a songwriter or performer in over 16,000 recordings. He has garnered numerous awards and accolades during his over 30 years of experience.

Daniel owns several companies, including XpandStudios, a state-of-the-art recording studio based in Los Angeles. With a diverse and international team of highly skilled arrangers, musicians, and engineers.

Companies

Daniel is the owner of XpandMusic, a record label and music publishing company, XpandBooks, a book publishing company, XpandFilms and AudioXpression, an online marketplace of sample packs/solutions for music producers. He is also a co-owner in Music Solution, a music production company, and Up-Tracks, a royalty-free music library.

The project was inspired by the interest of multiple artists in recording songs composed by Daniel, culminating in the
creation of a distinguished collection of albums. One of them, Leo Amuedo Plays Daniel Figueiredo, was nominated for
the Latin Grammy for Best Instrumental Album.
